swifttrack GPS ("we", "us") provides GPS vehicle-tracking hardware and a companion app/dashboard. This policy explains what data we collect when you use our website, app, and tracking service, why we collect it, and the choices you have — in line with Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019.
What we collect
Account details you give us (name, phone number, email), M-Pesa transaction references for subscription payments, location data reported by your tracker while your subscription is active, and a record of your acceptance of our Terms of Service (date, time, and the version accepted). We do not sell tracking or location data to third parties.
Cookies on this site
We use a small number of cookies:
- Essential cookies — keep you signed in to the app/portal and remember your cookie preference. These can't be switched off, as the site won't work without them.
- Analytics cookies — help us understand which pages are useful, so we can improve the site. These are only set if you accept cookies.
You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this domain, which will show the cookie banner again on your next visit.
Location data
Live location is only accessible to you (or an admin operator you contact for support) while your subscription is active. If you generate a shared live-location link for a friend or family member, that link shows a masked device identifier and expires automatically — it never exposes your full account details.
Your rights
You can request a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and associated data, subject to any legal retention requirements (e.g. payment records). Contact our support team to make a request.
