Backend Software Engineer

Full-time

Engineering · Nairobi (hybrid)

Work on the platform that ingests live GPS positions, evaluates geofence and theft-alert rules, and powers the rider app, portal and admin dashboard. Mostly Node.js/TypeScript and PostgreSQL, with a strong emphasis on reliability — this system is what alerts someone the moment their vehicle is stolen.

What we're looking for

2+ years professional experience with Node.js/TypeScript
Comfortable with relational databases and writing efficient SQL
Experience with or strong interest in real-time systems
Nairobi-based, able to come in for team days a few times a month
